She is an experienced professional, having worked for several district judges over the past 33 years as a court reporter in both Hidalgo and Starr County. In her spare time she enjoys her position as secretary of a nonprofit organization, the South Texas Chess Federation, as well as reading, playing chess, walking and learning new things.
